E-hailing
Munich without a car? No problem. You'll find shared mobility options all over the city. In most cases, the used means of transport can be located and activated via an app. The vehicles are publicly accessible and can be used for a fee. You can hire the following modes of transport:
-
Bicycles, pedelecs and cargo bikes in bike sharing, for example MVG Rad (only 5 cents a minute!!!)
-
Cars in car sharing, for example from Stattauto, ShareNow, Sixt Share or MILES (with ShareNow starting from 9 cents a minute)
-
Electric vehicles for rent, for example e-scooters from TIER or e-scooters from emmy
- If you want to choose the cheap alternative after partying and want to take an e-scooter home instead of a taxi/Uber, keep in mind that you are committing a criminal offense if your blood alcohol concentration is over 1.1 per mille (1.6 by bike).
