Manage and
Edit Content
Welcome to the toolbox for your content. In this section of the toolbar you will find all forms for article content and all advanced content options.
- 1. Content form
- In this form you will find all the content that you store in your items. If you open the form via this tool, you will find a list with all nodes on your drawing area. Each line can be opened by clicking into the line. There you will find the respective extended form for the node contents. The number of the node indicates which one it is exactly - this way you can also tell nodes apart that have the same title.
Title: The name of your node can be adjusted in this form.
Content box: Select the size of the content box here.
Direct link: Insert the URL to which a click on the node should lead.
Content: This form field is for the main text of your content. Add text, images, audio or videos. Use the menu bar to format your content.
Marginal column 1+2: This is for additional information that should stand out from the main text. This content is automatically placed below the main text and separated from it by a horizontal line.
Navigation under the content: Add navigation with this form.
Search term: Content that you place here will not be visible in the live map. In this field, add terms to your text that are important for the internal map search and that do not appear in the article itself.
Short description for SEO: Here you can add a short description for search engine optimisation. - 2. Editorial
-
If you want to add a preface or introduction to your map, you can use the editorial. An editorial will appear in the live map as a tab at the bottom of the map. Clicking on it will open a window above the map.
You can find more information in the section "Creating an editors note".
- 3. Glossary
-
With a glossary you have the possibility to define terms and words, such as technical terms or foreign words, from your articles and to create a definition.
More information can be found in the section "Add a glossary".
When a glossary is created, tooltips appear at the respective terms in the content.
