Map Settings
Open the map base data via this icon. Here you can set the background colour, the background image, the size of the working area or the number of layers. You can also access this settings window via the toolbar on the left side in the design settings area.

Size of the drawing area
Here you can set the size of the drawing area. This format is centred in the browser window when the live map is pulled up. You can also set nodes outside the drawing area, which will only be visible when you navigate there in the browser window by moving the map.
Layers
You can add and delete the number of layers either directly via the layers toolbar or via the settings area of the map base data. Up to 12 layers are possible via the drop-down menu.

Colour
Click on the small colour field to adjust the background colour. The colour selection tool opens. Choose whether you want the background to be a solid colour or to have a linear or radial gradient, select the colour from the colour selection tool or enter the HEX colour value and select transparency. When you have set all the settings correctly, save the values by clicking on "Ok".
Fixed background image
Add an image to the background and make advanced settings. When doing so, select an image from your media gallery, set the position and size within the drawing area and select transparency to make the image appear lighter.
The image and settings will be visible in the editor after saving.
Note: A background image will enlarge when zooming into the map. If you set nodes for the structure, you can associate them with a certain position of the background image (e.g. background image is the outline of a country and nodes are cities located within the country).
- Live View Read
-
If you want the nodes that have already been read to be visually marked when reading the live map, you can activate this option. This makes read nodes appear more transparent than unread nodes.
Note: This display is saved using cookies. As soon as cookies are deleted from the browser, the marking of read nodes is also deleted.
Save
Don't forget to save - otherwise your changes will be lost when you close the editing window.
